Javier Lamela is one of twelve artists selected for the project “Meaning Making. Fragmented Imagery of Twelve Cantabrian Artists”, it is conceived to publicize the creative potential of artists of Cantabria, through a roaming by the Instituto Cervantes New York, Brussels and Warsaw, and the Embassy of Spain in Washington.

The creators artists selected for this exhibition works with integration mechanisms of fragments in a broader context of meaning, these fragments accumulate, overlap and even contradict themselves, reflecting the diversity and the richness of life experience. The exhibition can be visited at the Instituto Cervantes Nueva York until March 30.
